The Teams page within your workspace serves as a central hub for managing collaboration and access permissions among team members. This page allows workspace administrators to efficiently add new members, assign roles, and control access levels to ensure smooth workflow and resource management.

Adding a Team Member

Workspace settings

To add a new member to your workspace, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to Teams: Access the Teams page within your workspace. This can typically be found within the Workspace Settings.

  2. Enter Email Address: Provide the email address of the team member you wish to invite. Make sure to enter the correct email to ensure the invitation reaches the intended recipient.

  3. Choose Role: Select the role for the team member from the available options. In your workspace, there are two predefined roles: Admin and Labeller.

    • Admin: Administrators have full access to manage all resources within the workspace. This includes creating and deleting projects, managing team members, configuring workspace settings, and more.
    • Labeller: Labellers have restricted access and are primarily focused on annotating datasets. They can access projects to label data but do not have administrative privileges.
  4. Send Invitation: Once you’ve entered the email address and selected the appropriate role, proceed to send the invitation. This will trigger an email notification to the invited team member.

  5. Confirmation: The invited team member will receive an email invitation to join the workspace. They will need to accept the invitation to become a member of the workspace.

  6. Access Granted: Upon accepting the invitation, the new team member will gain access to the workspace with the assigned role. They can then start collaborating on projects and utilizing workspace resources based on their permissions.

By following these steps, you can seamlessly expand your team and grant access to the workspace, enabling effective collaboration and resource utilization.
